To walk such a distance
That there is no opportunity
To turn around and find Regret
To abandon her in the bosom of
Patriarchal opportunity
Fed by the parents of
Middle Age historians
To create a patent of absence
Intrinsic in their satirical wisdom
To find betrayal in self misrepresentation
To walk with chin up and eyes
Gazing continuously ahead
Without pretense of moving forward
To stultify time itself
Without fear of resting in motion
Perhaps this is the worthiest
Marathon run

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”

― Marcel Proust ―
