Sitting again she stared at the wall
Hovering as her blood pressure rose
Pounding drums of scented thought
Stealing ribbons from her hair
Falling through the garden water
Ringlets frame faces around time
Snaps her fingers to the ticking
Stopping for one direction turns
Every corner shining old shoes
Tongues emptied of weapons
Destroying hound dog trails
Looping words held pennies
Nickeled thoughts for a sign
Crossing her heart a railroad
Trained to turn heads or tails
Wags its way across her bed
Sores
