As he passed through the car wash for the fifth time that day he noticed the rust on the overhead pipes. It was the only thing around him to indicate there’d been a passage of time between car washes.


Though driving and pausing at required places he was also a passenger watching for imminent signs to offer direction at each countdown. It never failed that portions of his car remained undried so he’d taken to calling the spots tiny time bomb droplets.

As he passed through the front door for the sixth time that day he noticed the cobwebs on the ceiling above his head. It was the only thing around him to indicate there’d been a passage of time between homes.

Though living through supernatural forces and pausing at required places he was also dying and watching for imminent signs of touchdown as the crows flew. It never failed that portions of his heart remained open to leak upon his cheeks undried so he’d taken to calling the dried spots tiny love bomb droplets.

He knew his failures were successes but didn’t need to know more than this as long as he kept flying.
